Yummy raw, vegan chocolate treats made with carob.
What you need:
2 dl (4/5 cup) of cashews (it's also yum to use mixed nuts, they don't get as sweet)
1 tablespoon of almond milk mixed with 1/2 teaspoon of carob powder
2 tablespoons of cacao
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
dried shredded coconut
Mix the nuts to a fine flour in a blender. Add the dates, cacao, coconut oil and the almond milk mixture.
Mix until it's a smooth paste. Roll into balls and roll them in shredded coconut.
Let them sit for an hour in the fridge before serving.
Lasts about a week in the fridge.
